NCSU Libraries is happy to provide open accessibility to our Resource Description & Access (RDA) test materials. While our goal is to make as many materials as open as possible, visitors should note that they may find occasional pages restricted throughout this site (logins, staff information, etc.). Please also note that this is a living documentation site for NCSU catalogers and will change and grow as we proceed. All decisions applied to the US RDA Test period. Our RDA documentation is quite a moving target. NCSU Libraries continues to catalog in RDA since the conclusion of the test period and we are in implementation conversations with the community nationally. We are happy for feedback on this site. Please email Erin Stalberg, Head Metadata & Cataloging, NCSU Libraries. |

NOTE: The RDA test period is over and NCSU's RDA test documentation has been retired and archived as of July 25, 2017. Staff in the Acquisitions & Discovery Department can access archived documentation at G:\Acquisitions & Discovery\Archive\Confluence\RDA Test Documentation. However, this documentation is no longer maintained or current and should not be used in cataloging work going forward. NCSU Libraries now catalogs according to current RDA rules, with no known exceptions. |
